Sidney Gottlieb

Sidney Gottlieb (1918–1999) was an American chemist who directed the CIA’s MKUltra program from 1953 to 1973 — personally overseeing the development of LSD as a potential truth serum, the covert dosing of unwitting subjects, the creation of assassination poisons, and the collaboration with Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron on depatterning experiments.

Known internally as the “Black Sorcerer” and the “Dirty Trickster,” Gottlieb embodied the archive’s concept of Inverted_Initiation: the systematic weaponization of consciousness-altering techniques for purposes of control. From an esoteric perspective, Gottlieb operated as a dark psychopomp—an inverted Hermes guiding souls not toward liberation and Gnosis, but through a literal, state-funded Qlippothic_Descent into absolute subservience and psychological fragmentation.
