Saoshyant
The Saoshyant (Avestan: “one who brings benefit”) is the messianic savior figure in Zoroastrian eschatology who will be born at the end of time to lead the final battle against evil, resurrect the dead, and initiate the Frashokereti — the cosmic renovation restoring the world to its pristine state under Ahura_Mazda.
The Saoshyant concept is widely regarded by scholars of Comparative_Religion as a direct structural influence on the messianic expectations of Second Temple Judaism, Christian Christology, and Islamic Mahdi traditions.
