Psychic driving
Psychic driving was an experimental technique employed by Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron as part of his depatterning program, covertly funded through MKUltra. It involved playing looped audio messages — either “negative” (designed to break down existing beliefs) or “positive” (designed to implant new beliefs) — to patients for up to 16 hours a day, often while they were kept in drug-induced comas.
The technique represents the dark inversion of Sacred_Acoustics. Once the psyche was thoroughly shattered into the “prima materia” (the target of the alchemical Nigredo) via electroshock and sensory deprivation, Cameron would implant new instructions via these looped tapes. This process structurally functions as a demonic inversion of the mantra or the whispered passwords of Masonic ritual, where sound is used not to induce Gnosis or transform the subject, but to overwrite and obliterate identity.
