Sathariel

Sathariel (“The Concealers”) is the third sphere of the Qlippoth, corresponding to and inverting the holy Sefirah, Binah.

Binah is the Great Mother, the loving darkness that gives shape, form, and understandable structure to the raw light of creation so that it can be comprehended. Sathariel perverts this structure by making it opaque. Instead of a structure that reveals reality, Sathariel builds the Labyrinth—a suffocating, sunless maze designed completely to hide the divine light, to confuse, and to trap consciousness in a prison of shadows.

Archetypal and Psychological Expression

  • The Devouring Labyrinth: Psychologically, Sathariel is the terrifying aspect of the dark Mother_Archetype that refuses to let the child go, trapping them in an inescapable web of false safety that ultimately suffocates.
  • Absolute Obfuscation: In esoteric practice, Sathariel represents the point where esoteric or scientific structures become so aggressively convoluted that they obscure the truth rather than mapping it. It is the realm of the impenetrable secret kept only for power’s sake.
  • The Demiurgic Prison: Sathariel represents the grand architecture of the Gnostic_Demiurge, where the material and psychological laws of reality are felt as hostile walls.
