Gamaliel

Gamaliel (“The Obscene Ones”) is the ninth sphere of the Qlippoth, corresponding to and inverting the holy Sefirah, Yesod.

Yesod acts as the astral foundation and the clear mirror of the subconscious, successfully translating higher divine light into the blueprint for the material world. Gamaliel is the polluted, distorted mirror. It is the realm of nightmare, twisted sexual fantasy, and dark astral illusions that entrap the mind in unending subjective obsessions.

Archetypal and Psychological Expression

• The Dark Astral_Plane: Gamaliel is the fever-dream layer of the astral world. It feeds on repressed urges, presenting them in grotesque forms to terrify or endlessly seduce the dreamer so they never wake up.
• The Vampire: While Yesod prepares to channel pure life energy into the physical world, Gamaliel operates as an energetic vampire, siphoning off that vital force to sustain its own hallucinatory, parasitic realm.
• The Dark Moon: Associated with the shadow aspects of the lunar cycle and the goddess Lilith (who is often placed as the ruler of Gamaliel), it governs over blood mysteries, night terrors, and repressed shadow contents.
